Set Up Your Utilities Before Moving Day!

One of the most overlooked yet essential tasks when moving is setting up electricity, gas, water, internet, and TV service. If you want everything running smoothly from day one, now is the time to take action!

Electricity & Gas

✅ In South Jersey, contact PSE&G for both electricity and gas service. In some areas, it may be South Jersey Gas or Atlantic City Electric.
✅ In Pennsylvania, you’ll need to:

• Call PECO for electricity

• Call PGW for gas

We will send you a list of the correct utility companies for your specific area via email the week of closing.

Tip: Call your utility providers at least a week before closing to ensure service is transferred smoothly and to avoid any disruption when you move in.

TV & Internet

• Schedule installation as soon as possible! TV and internet providers often have long wait times, and appointments may take several weeks to schedule.

• Reach out to your preferred provider early to avoid delays.
  

Water & Sewer

• In most cases, water and sewer accounts are transferred into your name at closing.

• However, it's always a good idea to call the provider in advance to check if they require a deposit or additional paperwork.
