Step 25 to Selling Your Home: Hire a Housecleaning Professional

Although your home is only required to be left in broom-clean condition, it's a thoughtful gesture to either clean the home yourself after you've moved all your belongings out or have a cleaning company take care of it. This should be done after all your stuff is out but before the closing takes place. Ideally, it's best if you've moved out and the cleaning has been completed before the walk-through, which typically happens the night before or the morning of closing.
