Free Money for Home Buyers

Both the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania offer grants or downpayment assistance to home buyers. They all have different requirements and criteria to qualify. The best resource is to speak with a lender who is approved to facilitate the programs.

Requirements

As part of the program you must:
- Some have a contribution amount from your own personal funds
- Live in the property as your permanent owner occupied residence
- Meet the income and purchase price limits
- Meet the credit requirements
- Complete homeownership counseling (online and in-person options available)
