Great news! The attorney review period (in NJ) has concluded with a meeting of the minds and we moved onto the inspections. From the buyer’s inspection repair requests, we’ve negotiated repairs and/or credits. Once both of these happen, the attorney review and inspection contingency periods are concluded.
This marks a crucial point in the process, as it becomes difficult for the buyer to back out of the contract. If the buyer does back out for any reason other than not being able to get a mortgage approval/commitment, they will likely lose their earnest money and you'll get to keep it instead.
Now, we patiently wait for the buyer's loan to get approved and focus on the last remaining items to get you prepared for closing! If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
