Step 7 to Selling Your Home: Professional Photography
Step 7 to Selling Your Home: Professional Photography
We’re so close to getting your home on the market! The final step before going live is one of the most important: professional photography.
Why Professional Photography Matters
Most buyers will first see your home online. Great photos can mean the difference between someone scheduling a showing—or scrolling past your listing. That’s why we invest in professional photography and a detailed floor plan for every home we list.
Appointment Time:
Condos: 1 hours
Single-family homes/townhouses: 1–2 hours, depending on size
What’s Included: Professional photos + a floor plan + video walk through tour (all at no cost to you)
Timeline: Photos are returned within 24-48 hours. Once we receive them, your listing goes live in the MLS!
Our Pro Tips for Great Photos
Remove or crate pets during the appointment
Hide pet beds, bowls, toys, and litter boxes
Make all beds neatly
Put dishes away and clear counters
Turn on all lights, and make sure bulbs are working (especially lamps)
Take your own quick photos the day before—if a room looks cluttered, declutter more
Expect a little rearranging: we may move items around for the best angles (we’ll do our best to return things to their original spots)
Beyond the Four Walls
Our photographer doesn’t just capture your home—they also highlight what makes the property stand out:
Condo amenities like gyms, rooftop decks, or parking garages
Neighborhood highlights like nearby parks, trails, or playgrounds
If there’s something specific you want showcased, just let us know before the appointment.
Bottom Line
Professional photography is the final step before your home officially goes live. With stunning visuals and a detailed floor plan, your listing will stand out online and capture the attention of serious buyers.
